There's a city called Sparta in New Jersey. And the RP is about the reincarnations of Greek gods and goddesses. It has nothing to do with 300, only the city Sparta, and it was done that way probably so the players could set it somewhere where they knew how things works (an American college) and be clever at the same time.

They're not messing with European history.

If there's a city in New Jersey called like that then it's all fine. But the fact they make Greek gods and goddness reincarnate in America... No. Just no OTL
I'm tired of the world revolving around America always, can't they just make the reincarnation in Greece or find any other idea for an RP? I know it's supposed to be for fun and nothing else, but it bugs me greatly how every awesome thing the rest of the world has, there's always someone trying to make it American.
