I am seriously considering going to Rome next year for the Supernatural convention. I'm turning 30 this year and I've never been to Europe so what better way to experience Europe then by going to ITALY!

crazy ideas, pipe dreams

I knew I could count on you!

I'm having a hard time understanding the Jus In Belo website though :/ The whole euro thing is confusing me.

So in your honest opinion what pass do I need and how much does everything cost. And can I wait to buy my pass or does this stuff sell out. And is this something I could go to by myself if need be.

Yes, there's definitely some language barrier involved in dealing with the JIB girls. They do their best, though, and all seem very nice. And their English is a hell of a lot better than my Italian! One tip, for what it's worth--I pretty much never used their online interface; I just emailed to buy my tickets, and that worked out fine. (I mean I emailed at the split second things went on sale, for the limited-attendance events--but we got our tickets to those, when a lot of people didn't, so I consider it a win.)

The euro thing--well, just figure everything's going to cost about 1-1/2 times as much in dollars. You can use a currency converter site like xe.com to get a general idea what things will cost, but that won't give you exactly the same rate you'll get when you send money via Paypal ( ... )

Thanks really :)

I don't think I can by my pass until August also. Maybe I'll be able to find someone to go with me by then. I really don't want to travel by myself, but I don't have anyone I can convince to come with me. Plus I don't think my dad would let me get on a plane to Europe by myself ;) Maybe I should just suck it up and go to the con in LA but I want to go to Italy. And everyone around me is going to some part of Europe this year.
