We now have all the money we need to pay for Lily's medical expenses. We might even have a little left over to donate to our local Humane Society

Thanks for coming up with such a fun way to help Lily--and to all your family for being willing to do so much for a little stray. This was particularly poignant for me, because I adopted a little feral kitten a couple of months ago who is almost exactly like Lily--the same age and looks almost exactly like her. I named mine Minerva, for obvious reasons, and I absolutely adore her! The thought of anyone hurting a kitten like her is appalling.

My decision to put Lily's story out there and ask for help was really spontaneous and I had no idea if anything would come of it. The response was overwhelming and had really lifted me up during some stressful times of my own.
