Nabbed via hyper_neko5. I've bolded quotes that particularly resonated with me.

As Newsarama reports, they talked quite a bit about Joker (and his past and future titles, as well as TDK) at DC's Batman panel at Comic Con today, and I thought I'd post those parts here ( Read more... )

I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't really digging RIP right now. :/

Although it looks like Tim might be fighting Bruce after I read the latest Robin. Which I kinda do wanna see. XD

I don't think they mean from a reader's point of view - but from the POV of the people in the Batverse.

Ditto, and since Dini writes perhaps the blackly funniest Joker, if he meant it the other way, I'm forced to the bizarre confusion that he's doin' it wrong! ;)

It isn't that Morrison doesn't GET characters. He just doesn't get when to STOP with them. I picture him like this brilliant kid playing in a sandbox for his own amusement and letting things just get way, way out of hand.

P.s. Here's the thing... I have gotten like, warning signals from EVERYTHING Azzarello and his artist have said about Joker...

Yet I've still got a good feeling about it.

Riddle me that shit... I got nothing.
