I have a two part question.

First do we have to pick one character or can we use any and all of them. For example an icon of Klaus, another of Elijah and so on..

Secondly do we have to chose one show or the other, or can we make icons of both? For example some of TVD and some of The Originals?

You did not have to claim any characters or ships, so yes you can icon all the characters you want, any ships, or any group of people from TVD or TO for any of your icons. It's similar to the Free Rounds, except that there are 20 themes instead of having a Category and an AC section.
