I like the start of this story. You had me crying at the end when Logan and Veronica realize that things between them can't be "normal."

I like Dick's line about Deputy "Sheep"--hee. Lamb jokes always me laugh.

Ooh very interesting. Lovely characterisation and the back story is great. Can't wait to see what the other chapters hold!

One thing I noticed:
Logan nodded, forcing Dick to wrap an around his shoulders as the trio made their way to the Xterra, Dick gracelessly falling across the backseat as Veronica climbed into the passenger’s seat.

It should be: "forcing Dick to wrap an arm around his shoulders," right?
