Writer's Block: Happy Halloween!
Erm...well it's my birthday so I guess I'm not celebrating it as such. I've never done anything slightly Halloween-ish in my life. Plus my mom is like a big Catholic and doesn't believe in it *sigh* o well. From what I know I'm not missing out on anything special. I'll be dressing-up at work because my boss is like INSANELY fond of Halloween and we ALL dress-up. We get free lunch, too, so who'd complaining, right? Last year I even won the costume contest. Sad, I know.
We may or may not hand out candy. We did it two years ago and were utterly innundated by older kids, most of whom were not even dressed-up. We also went through like 11 bags of candy. We ran out and one point and I was hiding on the dark listening to kids pounding on the door while my husband ran out to get more. We had nothing else in the house to hand out. Well, not nothing, but handing out beer and spices and random veggies might not go over well. "Here, kid, have a Guiness and some paprika..."

I think I have seen a picture of when you won the costume contest. Crazy cat lady yea? It was a very cool and original idea. I would never have come up with it. I wouldn't say it was sad. I like dressing up I just find Halloween very forced. But I agree, if you get a free lunch hey! why not.
Thanks for saying I have a cool birthday! Most people's response, including my boyfriends, when they find out what day my birthday is on say - what does that mean your like a witch or vampire or something? No, no it does not...
