 Witches walk the edges.  Our tents and huts have always been located on the periphery between the Civilized and Wild places.    I am speaking of the Witch as Shaman, as Medicine Person, Sorcerer, Walker Between the Worlds.

This is new for us (Witches), for traditionally we have been too filled with hubris, too enamored of our own Beauty to notice what needed healing in us and too enthralled with our own Power to ask for the help required . . . .

HOW VERY TRUE.
This is yet another dance we carefully do each day - to heal and sing and make magic and whisper to the Gods.... and not get lost in the enormity of our own power and become B-itches instead of W-itches.
