I know I've said this before but I can't get past it.  Cygnus Black was 13 years old when his daughter Bellatrix was born...these people were "off their collective nut"!  They're sick I tell you!  Psssh!  That family!  Poor Sirius...

Yes.  My chapter six for FIG was denied at MNFF because I used the slang word "innit" (just once) in dialog between Sirius and Regulus.  The volunteer "looked it up" and said that that term was not in use until the 1980's and that it was probably not appropriate for that converstation which took place in 1971.

I’m really perturbed today.  Here’s why…

In PoA, Dumbledore/McGonagall/The Ministry - whoever was in charge - allowed a thirteen-year old witch the use of a Time-Turner to enable her to take a few more classes than normal.  A Time-Turner which is and object “supposedly” so carefully monitored by the Ministry that it took “much doing” to allow ( Read more... )
