Aawwww, yay for carpet guy totally kicking Lowes ass! That's awesome and so much better for both you AND him! I'm sure he needs the money way more than Lowes and you get to save a bundle, and you learned to carpet in the meantime! :D YAY! It looks great, too! I'm so happy! The whole house is coming together so nicely. I love the paint in the front room and that piano is totally classy. :D YAY!!! And no more icky old carpet! :D:D:D:D What do you plan to do with the unfinished landing on the stairs? Does it get carpeted or just sanded and varnished?

Alas for the ring, but yeah, definitely better to get the carpet and save for the ring again. ♥ So glad she's understanding. :D Especially since she gets to open for in-home business now! XD
