I assumed it was from the opening movie lol.
Do you know where in the movie it appears?

I know, I just want to hug him ^_^

So I've sat and watched the opening as well, and I am not finding that precise shot just yet; I THINK (could be wrong!) that it's when he's turning to attack, and it's just one of those lucky "blink and you miss it" screens.

But I shall keep trying! :]

If memory serves me correctly, that was from one of the flash clips that played on the japanese Dissidia site before all the characters were announced/the game properly launched.

Maybe try poking ffchaoticcosmos to see if anyone saved those .flvs? The current site shows clips from the finalized opening.
