Believe it or not, his being irritable with you is a good sign. Means he's listening. Though he might misinterpret what you're saying as an attack. Try to keep calm when he's angry. Snapping back never helps.

He likes to enjoy food and music, perhaps you could encourage a performance? After all, his harp playing is audible from outside his room. He cannot cook.

Zero only as a last, dead on resort. It would be akin to torture in his eyes. I realise that might mean that you wouldn't appear to punish him but you will really lose all trust with him if you try it. If another warden puts him in there, get him out as soon as possible.

He may try to seduce you if he thinks you're weak enough to fall for it and he feels it is useful to do so. Try not to take this personally and in fact, I've found pretending it isn't happening at all is a good defence. He won't be overly inappropriate with it, for him it is a tool, nothing more. He likely won't touch you beyond your hands.

No, it goes beyond that. He knows that his abilities will be curtailed completely while he's imprisoned and when he's powerless, he's vulnerable and when he's vulnerable, he's tortured.
