I finally made Akira! And NOBODY recognized me at NDK this year- it was sort of saddening. -_- Got a few cheers during the costume contest, but I would've thought that the outfit would get a better welcome (there was a *good* handful of SDK cosplayers at last year's NDK)

Oho no. Nor did I walk around without my glasses and be blind that way. :P (though I did have to photoshop out nose piece marks on ALL of my closeup pics >_>)

(Photoshop is everyone's friend 8D) Which is why I usually only cosplay people with glasses or who I can wangle wearing glasses cause otherwise phail I do 8D

I spent the extra money and invested in frameless glasses and ZOMG they're SO worth it! The only time that I wasn't happy with them was as Ulquiorra, because the non-vision parts are dark brown (against white skin) and I couldn't take 'em off because of the mask. x_x
But with a MASK mask on you can't see 'em at all :D

Aw, when I cosplayed Yuya at Otakon 2006 not many people noticed me either.. cept Sanada. :3 It seriously was like meeting a god. Haha..<3

I think Akira acts like he's already been molested in public. I watch too much Law & Order...anyway, I must say you make a fantasic Akira...you really look alot like him in the photographs. Absolutely fabulous! Even if nobody recognized you (its their loss), mission accoplished!

Wow, it's a lovely cosplay nevertheless~ It's too bad that nobody recognised you. Well, I am just happy that I get to see an Akira cosplay, since he's my favourite character, and you portrayed him well.
