Chapter 306 T__________T

Apr 24, 2006 16:21

UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! *clings* Just... just read it!! *cries* Well, it's true, the next chapter is the last... but it's a 36-page finale with color pages - I know that only makes it *slightly* less depressing, but since 306 was done so well, I'm optimistic... *sniffles* Nee-sama needs a hug. And a drink.

Wow, one chapter left. I am not surprised Aka is actually Kyoichirou. I had thought of that before, which makes it a little dissapointing. There were also some touching scenes I enjoyed.

I'm sad to see SDK go, I hoped it would at least make it to 310..

By the way, I've always wanted to know, but are the names of the red cross knights real names, made up gibberish, or what?

Oh yeah, they're real names. They're all named "Kyou", which is just the character for "capital", and then Ichirou (#1 Son), Jirou (#2 Son), Saburou (#3 Son), and Shirou (#4 Son). Those are like, really traditional and uncreative names for boys, but very common too~ Especially in the 1600s - boys usually got several names. One name that they used up until age 15 that's kind of like a childhood nickname (like Date Masamune is called Bontenmaru - childhood names often have "maru" in them). Then when they turned 15, they would get a normal name, often with a number in it (like Kyoushirou) or less commonly, "suke" or "zaemon" in it (like Sasuke). And they also got an inheirited name based on their ancestor's names (like Yukimura, named after his father Masayuki). And well, if they got bored of those names, they could make up any kind of nickname as a "fighting" name (like Benitora). But regular non-samurai people just got one name for their whole life, usually soemthing not too fancy (like Akira).

*hugs* It's sooooooooo gooooooooooood TT_TT!!!!! Kyo better come back to Yuya... I really hope Kamijyo-sensei does more manga about hot demons. I'll feel so empty once SDK is over, it's consumed my life for the past 3 years and.. I can't imagine a life without monday updates. ;_;

Suddenly my life is now devoid of meaning... or at least my mondays are devoid of meaning... *cries Aka-no-Emo tears of blood* There had better be more hot demons. *sniffle* but even so, it's just not the same as SDK...!!

Will you keep us updated if she does anymore manga, right? Kamijyo has such an amazing drawing talent.. and story talent too. :3.

I'm trying to think of any other amazing manga like SDK and nothing even comes close.. SDK had it's amazing violence, hot girls, even hotter guys and an angsty 12 yr old ninja. So goooooood!

Anyway, thank you for translating everything that you do. And side question- are you going to Otakon? Cause I'd love to meet you. O_O

Absolutely, you know I'm already committed to translating whatever he puts out next! (As long as Heiji can get raws for it, lol) I hope Kamijyo-sensei's next series is in Shounen Magazine, thought, because I can only get Shounen Magazine and Shounen Jump around here and I like to buy the hard copy whenever possible. (I have an entire bookshelf of SDK weekly chapters... you're supposed to throw them away when you're done because they're printed so cheaply, but I can't do it...)

I knooooow! There is nothing like SDK!! I translate lots of other series, but nothing compares to SDK... every time I hear someone call it a cheap Rurouni Kenshin knockoff, I want to punch them in the face... ^^;;

And yes, I'll be at Otakon - I'm sure I'll have an SDK cosplay group for at least some of the con!

Drinks are once again on me, fangirls. *hugs her nee-sama*

I KNEW that the Aka no Ou was Kyouichirou ! I knew it!

Kyo had better get out of this alive. He must, he must.

And it's going to be over... one more chapter... with colour pages... T____T Well, at least we can still point and laugh at Tokyopop. I want to see what they do with Shihoudou and her filthy mouth.

*sobs* Kamijyo-sensei, you've reduced me to drinking the melon-flavored beer!

Well it was becoming more and more likely that he was Kyouichirou but I didn't expect him to die in Kyo's arms... oh gods it's Hishigi all over again... hey, can you get post-traumatic stress from a manga? *clings and whimpers*

With the way Kamijyo-sensei has been packing tiny, tiny text into those pages, 36 pages will feel like 3600 to translate... but I can't wait! (Well, we're going to have to wait, because I think Shounen Magazine takes a break for Golden Week, but still...)

There, there. My mom hides the good stuff that she thinks I don't know about in the mini-fridge in the back of her closet.

Yeah, now that I think about it, if he were true Mibu and could control his Demon God side (which he wouldn't have been able to do without someone there that could resist the influence of yin), why didn't he bring it up to counter Kyo's? It all makes sense now.

It's just as well that there will be a week off, since I have AP tests next week.

Thank you very much.....hm....they have to have a cliff-hanger on this one...well, at least the last chapter will be 34 pages, so probably it won't be a rush ending.

man, vol38 is going to be an uber thick issue, 200+ pages for the story, plus index stuff.
