Whoa. . . . . O_O I really love that last little bit with the hearts. Kyo can be such a bastard, though maybe if he keeps telling himself he doesn't care, he'll believe it someday.

That bit seems to be quite popular... but now that I look at it, it really doesn't fit into the fic. *headdesk*

Up a creek without a paddle, I'm afraid. *sobs* But it's pretty obvious that no matter how much Kyo might say that to himself, his face, and especially his eyes, gives him away everytime.

*laughs* I think it kinda does, to be honest. Yuya's affirming something about Kyo, and about herself in that statement. In a way, that was her comfort, the fact that Kyo's heart wasn't afraid to die, for it was still beating. Her own heart, while in jeapordy from Shinrei's waterwyrm (I like dragon better, to be honest), it's still beating strong and unafraid.

Awesome. I like how you portray Kyo's denial, and Yuya's simple reaffirmation that they're both still alive. Simple, but realistic. =) Great job.
