LJ Talk Confusion and Frustration...HELP!

I downloaded Trillian Basic because Gizmo wouldn't work.

I guess it's not compatible with Vista? What? Oh well.

So anyways, I can't login using my LJ login. What the hell?

Does anyone reading this know what I can do? Or maybe if there's another downloadable chat program for free that would be compatible?

I have Vista, and Trillian Basic works for me.
