Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy the story, even though it’s not all rainbows and unicorns. ;-)

Oh, wow, Robyn. Just... wow. See? THIS is why I will always carry an Emlyn/Ametrine torch in the depths of my 'shipping heart. :)

I love the way you write Ametrine so much. Have I ever told you that? She's just an awesome character.

And ooooooooooooh, I LOVE getting a glimpse into the background story of the main arc! This really puts their relationship and the events towards the end of the first book into perspective.

Well, y'know, what I'm trying to show in this piece is that her feelings for him aren't quite romantic love, and never really were. But she certainly feels something.

I'm glad you liked this - and I was happy to have a chance to write some Ametrine-focused stuff. She is a fun character, and I enjoy her strange history and family (Erimentha is one of all-time favorite "never makes it into the actual story" supporting characters ;-)). Maybe someday she'll get a novel all her own.
