America's relationship with Spain is a complicated one. He didn't like the younger country at all, due to historical reasons, and yet...since coming to Somarium, without the political constraints, things have improved between them.

It didn't help that, during one particular moon phase, Spain saw America as a son, and, as he is nothing if not paternal, that is a difficult bond to break, hallucination or no.

Granted, they still get into fights, and Spain and America will still bicker...but there's no sting there. It's nothing more than friendly bickering now.

Or, in other words, 'it's like a delicate friendship/family tie thing of eyebrow-raising action' ilu Mimiru

Spain has known Austria for some time now. He was married to him under the Habsburgs, after all, but after that and though their relationship was strained and they had their fair share of fights, Spain has never disliked Austria. In fact, he quite likes the other country, and is really entertained by Austria's stiff demeanor and snobbishness--it's never bothered him, after all.

But he definitely cares, and he's happy to be living with Austria here in Somarium. It brings some of the familiar to the strange and unusual.

And he'll never get tired of listening to Austria play the piano.

They've never had a good history together. Humiliation and pain delivered is hard to forget, and he doubts that they'll ever be able to get along, especially with such unresolved issues as Gibraltar.

All in all, he doesn't miss England and might just be glad that he's gone from Somarium.

France and Spain have an interesting relationship.

They've been at war plenty of times, and France has caused Spain some of the most pain, historically, of anyone. And yet, they are still close (geographically and otherwise), and Spain certainly considers him something of a brother...A brother that hurts him sometimes, sure, but someone that he still will go to for advice or just hang out with, as friends.

He misses France; it almost felt like home with him here.

Spain didn't know Hungary well before living with her here in Somarium, as they had never had much reason to interact. However, he is grateful for the chance to have gotten to know her, and is definitely very fond of her. She has her quirks, and she's rather frightening with a frying pan, but the fact stands that he thinks of her, maybe, as a bit of a sister.

A sister he definitely doesn't need to protect. Strangely enough, Hungary is possibly one of the few people that he is this fond of and yet doesn't see the need to look after. But then, maybe that's not so strange.

Either way, he is quite happy to live with her and Austria, and loves to see how happy she makes the otherwise still Austria. He thinks it's the cutest thing, really.

choru

Korea is really, really strange.

He is also a horrible influence on Spain, but I digress.

Either way, Spain doesn't know much about Korea, but he finds his energy to be infectious, and might just be glad it's back.

If Korea doesn't try to lie to him about the World Cup again, anyway.

Another country Spain hasn't really had much interaction with. However, anyone from his home of Europe is automatically welcomed as something familiar.

Anyway, Poland seems nice enough, and he's a very Catholic country too, which only helps.

Oh Prussia. Where to begin?

Prussia is the friend who really isn't a very good friend, but despite this, Spain is somewhat fond of him. Maybe. I really don't know anymore.

Either way, they manage to get along okay, but only if Spain pays for the drinks.

sealanddesuyo

As of right now, Spain just finds Sealand adorable, but he's a bit too far back in the past to know that Sealand even, well, exists.

Still doesn't believe his claims of being a country, though, sorry, Sealand.
