A little peak into My Other Fandom.

I have been visiting my other fandom this weekend. This is a little peak into the world of "Lourdesmont" during the American Revolution. Elizabeth, Henry, Jeremy and Isak are rebels who secretly work for General Lafayette. Those of you who know my Ellie well ... she was still Ellie even back then ... (-:

So much suffering. There is so much suffering in this world... long before I was born...

Memories.. sometimes that's all we have. I know well the scars and pain of war... I spent three weeks sneaking out of England and across the Atlantic in the winter of 1980... while I was eight months pregnant. I couldn't go directly... I went through France and then Spain... I eventually left for Texas from Lisbon.

All of that to make sure one evil wizard wouldn't harm my baby... I only have a vauge memory of giving birth.

The only direct memory I have is a doctor coming into the room late in the afternoon and telling me something I didn't want to hear... though I can't for the life of me remember what it was... and I also remember a young man with jade green eyes.

I remember he had the most incredibly warm smile I'd ever seen...

...it was almost like Regulus's... except that it had a look to it... I can't explain... I'd almost say it was as if the boy in question had only known joy in his life... never sorrow.
