Spotted via Truth in Shredding, it seems high profile magazines are chipping in these days to present their idea of who is the best in the world of guitar. This time it’s Elle, usually more concerned about catwalks than stadium stages, who’ve come up with their own list of the 12

Everybody always forgets Ellen McIlwaine. Although probably better known as an acoustic slide guitar player, she does electric quite well also.

We do share a first name. :) I encountered her when I was a teenager, but she still performs.

I am surprized they didn't mention Katie White from the Ting Tings who is no slouch and about right now.
