I have a little plaque hanging above my kitchen sink that says "Dear Santa, I can explain..." the kids get a kick out of it. :)

I'm sad to have missed Book singing...I don't think I've actually experienced that yet. Glad to hear a good time was had by all. And yeah, I'm already late on Hanukkah presents, let alone Christmas presents, let alone Three Kings' Day presents. Sheesh.

Ha ha! Hee hee! Ho ho! Two hours longer? I WISH it had been two hours longer! It took me a solid SIX HOURS to get home that day. The drive was 177 miles (I had clocked it on the way down to Rob's) and should have taken me just about three hours to get home. Whoo! Yeah. Adventure. Talking on the phone with you the whole time I was stopped kept me sane, really. I would have lost my mind if I hadn't had that distraction!

It was definitely cool to see Book sing on Rock Band! It's a rarity in mixed company.

I feel like I have failed miserably in gift buying this year. I feel many, if not all, of my gifts are lame and half-assed. Except the cookies. The cookies are always yummy! :-)
