One of the things that is enjoyable about starting over in a new campaign is watching how with the creation of a new character people's personalities will shift in order to act differently from the last one they just played. Sometimes I really hate the fact that you use codenames. For the peeps that I never talk to and only read about in your blog, I find myself thinking about them in their codenames and not their real names. Wes is probably the worst. I really have to think about his real name, when I mentally visualize his face, Wes pops in there.
Love the play by play for the d&d.

Yeah, sometimes it's a pain in the ass for me too but whenever I considering just saying screw it and using real names something happens to make me change my mind back.

Just not comfortable throwing people's names out there into cyberspace against their will.

Don't misunderstand, if I thought it was just pointless name changing, I'd have totally chastised you years ago. You have a good and valid reason to change the names of the innocent. It is a good idea, my problem stems more from never seeing these people in RL. Because your blog is my only source of info of these peeps, their fake names take over their real names in my head. If I were more social with these peeps or even made it out to Lione every once in a while, it wouldn't be such a problem.

Heh - yeah, I can see that. There are times I start to blur their fake and real names depending on how often I see them or write about them in a period of time.

Messes with the noggin! :)
