An amazing chapter, hun, full of drama. I love the interaction between the two Englishment who are poles apart. The dialogue is witty, sad and very moving. Spike's mad diatribe is incredibly well done and I like the references to previous chapters and characters, which had me scrolling through the chapters of this series and the last to remind me. Spike and Giles, eh? I've never been a fan, but the way you've drawn me into this relationship is clever and exciting. And who better to team up with my favourite vampire than a wiley old Watcher?

Part 2 soon, please? Please, please. (I know, I'm doing it again).

Just checked, darlin' and they've posted ok, don't know what happened before. Where'd you get those gorgeous pics of Sharon Tate in 'Fearless vampire killers?' They're amazing.

Oh, and will never stop badgering you to write Spangel. You'd rock, girl!

This is a great chapter: moving and funny at the same time. I've just re-read it and loved it all over again. I'm not a Spike-Giles (Spiles?) shipper, but these two work so well together and I love the no nonsense manner in which the old Watcher addresses the Big Bad. Giles' 'song in his heart and spring in his step' was a joy to feel and I'm looking foward to reading more of the odd couple.

One thing, "he is many miles and hours from me, yet as I wake in the chilly darkness, I sip from the chalice of him; when I am dead and opened, you will find 'Angel' in my heart still.'

Those words just about finished me off. I reconnise one of the quotes (Bloody Mary Tudor) but not the other.

News of Angel soon? :)
