I seem to have stopped getting emails from livejournal. It's been going on for a couple of hours now. Should I blame LJ or my work spam filter?

I think there's a bit of both going on. One of the LJ news things said that since the move things have been slow and they blame various mail servers, and that they were working to resolve it, bla bla bla. But I have pipex and I've got their addys on safe, so why I'm having the same problem I don't know. It's SO annoying! I hope they sort it soon.

I just went to my LJ inbox and looked at manage settings (I was thinking of changing my email address). Anyway were several new "also notify me by email" buttons that didn't appear to be related to anything and weren't checked.

I just checked them all my email has started sending me messages... Given I posted a drabble and a survivors review today its quite a lot of emails....

Actually, that's not it 'cos I fiddled the setting for this account and all the emails I got were for my other account.

Is confused now.

Oooh and here come all the ones to this account. Freaky coincidence it all fixing itself within minutes of me posting and starting to fiddle with settings.

Been getting this problem since Monday. You can imagine it was a bit of a nightmare when I started a chat at Denial and the comments got up past 100, since they failed to show up until later and I got loads in batches. It's down to the new servers, I think, or so they say.

I can see the Monday chat might have been a problem. I imagine something similar is happening to deinonychus_1. This server move is proving more than a little buggy - though I don't know enough about large web systems to know how inevitable that was.

I think it's been happening to everyone, and it still seems to be a problem.
