Those Batman reruns, now that I think about it, were another contribution to my whump!wiring. Robin got tied up way way too often...a boy in peril.

The Burt Ward!Robin is definitely my faaaaavorite person to see tied up for whatever reason those writers could come up with :D I can't quite remember exactly, but I seem to recall an episode where Robin was tied up on various things (a subway track, a carousel horse, and something else) but they were mannequins or traps to fool Batman and keep him running around :D

The image on the horse lingers though I sadly can't find it :O
