I've also never been one who sparkles, never been attracted to the ones who sparkle, nor been dazzled by that flash and spritely luminous superficiality. It's not my way. The closest analogue to my experience I can come up with is that I smolder. Like the lava you can barely make out at the bottom of an abyss.
But even that makes me laugh (I mean really -- say "smolder" five times fast). Like sparkles and glitter, it feels a bit like I'm trying too hard. And who needs to do that when you're actually powerful, actually dazzling, actually overwhelming?
