it blows my mind. it's just a BAD and BORING movie with NOTHING NEW in it, I mean, even aside from the fact that its based in all this offensive shit.

the VIllage Voice kind of liked it... nobody's saying it just blows. what's the deal?

documentaries and documentary film makers are all cool now. so all these jackasses who maybe would have made shitty "serious" fictional films before (like slam, which i never saw and maybe is kinda good, i have no idea, prolly not so much,) are now like, woah, i can make a movie about whatever i wanna, and put myself in it and it'll be even more serious and personal and true. and then we have to actually look at them throughout their stupid movies.
