AND you're sad about leaving Kingston because it means it's not so easy for me to visit!!! IT'S ALL ABOUT ME! IT ALWAYS IS! HOW COULD YOU FORGET THIS??
In other news, yay, I'm visiting this weekend!
AND... I totally empathize about planning things, calling people, the frustration of it all. Especially seeing as you were trying to be organized and took the time to call which is annoying and then to be sort of shut down. YUCKY!
But I totally like and support the thought that you only need to find ONE apartment: that's good! :) And you know people in Ottawa so you can visit when you're there and you have people to stay with... when DL moved to New York it was an awful hassle AND he had no one to stay with and hotels there are really expensive. So yay! That's one good thing.
I am going to take the completely opposite tack and say, "Yay, OTTAWA!" Because I am there sometimes, and, it turns out, despite the best of intentions, I am not often (ever) in Kingston. :P
I do, however, second the yay-not-stressing-out attitude of ONE apartment :) Just remember: if this were a TV show, you'd somehow wind up moving in with my parents, while also pretending to move in with your own, and then hilarity and laughtracks would ensue as you and T tried to keep your double lives straight. :)

In other news, I think you were the one who first directed me to Cracked via the Craption contest, so you may have seen this, but, on this list http://www.cracked.com/article_16969_20-celebrity-lives-in-flowchart-form.html , I think #10 was secretly made by us.
