“Wow Merlin!” said Arthur as Merlin effortlessly conjured an impressive display of sparkling lights that erupted into a blazing fire in the fireplace. “You could bring a man to his knees just by wiggling a finger!” He closed his eyes in contemplation.
He was lost in thought imagining himself victorious over the most powerful armies in the world until he felt something skittering across his body and he snapped his eyes open to see Merlin grinning slyly from the other side of the room, directing the soft stroking golden teasing tendrils of magic with an outstretched hand.
“Er...Merlin that's not quite what I meant...” he said. Merlin wiggled a finger and Arthur groaned, falling to his knees. “Ooooh...do that again.”
