New Reading Project!

Well, I’ve taken part in the Kickstarter for the Tides of Numenera video game. I’ve ordered the game, the sound track, the comic books, the novella collection and a great deal of exciting swag and stuff.

Only, I don’t have any of this stuff yet.

Because the game won’t be out for a while.

It’ll take about two years.

I vaguely remember reading Shadow of the Torturer a long time ago. It seemed like just another fantasy with religious themes to me. *shrugs*

Well, is this stuff fantasy with technology indistinguishable from magic and therefore other fantasy novels? That's one thing I'm curious about. And I remember the ending to the New Sun series as being a big WTF, so I'll see what my reaction to is if I get around to it during this project!

I have a love-hate relationship with Moorcock - Dancers is in the "love" bit. Have been meaning to get to the New Sun thingo, too.
