Sick as a dog. Speaking of animals, I volunteered at the Humane Society today. Got to cuddle lots of kitties.

Have been demoted to banquet server. Erratic hours, no tips, and I really liked working in the 19th Hole. But at least I still have a job.

Job is going well. Neck a little sore from practicing falls in martial arts class.

Have interview with VHS director tomorrow about volunteering.

First day of new job went well. Pretty much what you would expect from a waitressing job.

Went to VHS Information Fair last night. Am going to volunteer on Monday when I'm off. I signed up to walk dogs, clean cages and pens, that sort of thing.

I have a job!

Yay!

I will be working at Rolling Hills Country Club at a server. It is very posh.

Also, American Legion is having a vendor sale where I will sell my hats and headbands.

Have been gluing crochet flowers and beads to headbands. Very satisfying, if a little dangerous, what with the hot glue and all.

Also made cute headband with a bunch of random beads I found in my closet.

Made blueberry muffins with quinoa and flaxseed meal. Mom said they taste very healthy.

Went to martial arts class for the first time last night. Think I'll really like it.

Have decided to start taking martial arts classes again. There is a very traditional dojo in the area that is quite cheap. First class is on Monday ( Read more... )

Eating quinoa and strawberries. Quinoa is a very nutritious food from the Andes that tastes very bland.

At least the strawberries make it edible.

Still awful sick. Been sleeping so much I have a backache too. Nose was so stuffy I couldn't even use neti pot.
