Imagine that the Phượng is a very cute bird. Very, very cute.

[PAUSES TO LET HIM THINK UPON THIS.]

Alright, now what do you get out of the story?

[LONG LONG PAUSE]

Helping out others is for sissies! Even if you are really cute! Ahh, that poor bird, should have gone through more training . . .

[This is why Prussia will never be a Buddhist.]

There are many stories about lions and mice. I'd like to hear yours.

One day, a mouse stumbled into the lair of a lion and accidentally awoke him. The lion grabbed the mouse and threatened to eat him.

"Please don't eat me, Your Majesty! I did not mean to wake you, it was a mistake. I was only playing. Please let me go - and I promise I will be your friend forever. Who knows but one day I could save your life?"

The plea cause the Lion to laugh. Noting that a mouse was not worthy of being killed by such a great creature, he let the small animal go.

Unfortunately, later, the lion was caught in a trap. One that even his great strength could not break. But the mouse saw him and remembered his promise to the lion. Using his small teeth, he cut through the rope and freed the lion.

"I did not believe that you could be of use to me, little mouse, but today you saved my life."

Ah, I've heard something similar to this one before. No act of kindness is wasted, yes?

Not even for your designer clothes?

Or more tiny televisions with inconveniently small buttons?
