I was re-reading Gone with the Wind the other day when I came across a passage that made me chuckle.

I've just typed it out in dialogue form;

Rhett:  Scarlett, you like me, don't you?
Scarlett:  Well sometimes.  When you aren't acting like a varmint.

It does seem like a strange combination.

I think it might have even been subconscious - I do that all the time, write some dialogue I think is great and then realise it's from another book or movie :D
