*screeches happily*

*hugs my fic close*

*hugs JL*

I LOVE IT!!! Man what a day--I got your package, and this fic!! :D :D :D :D

Oh, it's so beautiful! I LOVE L/M on Tatooine fics! Did you know that?! :D And this one is so perfect--I love how quiet and reflective it is, with the love still pouring out all over. And poor Mara, I can so relate. I can't imagine what I'd look like on Tatooine--I burn red enough here on Earth! ;)

I just love how Luke thought to bring her moisturizer and after-sun lotion--and the idea of him rubbing it into her skin... *le sigh*

Thank you, thank you so much! I <3 it muchly!

*off to read again!!!*

Are you going to post this on TFN? *bats eyes* ;)

*hugs back* So glad you like it! I love L/M Tatooine fics as well - Farmboy just seems so at home there, and Mara...doesn't, which is so fun to play with.

I might post it at TFN - if I can come up with a title!

Thanks, gal!

Positively wonderful.

I agree about the burning. ..

and of COURSE luke would know more about Tatooine's climate than Mara. . . silly mara you can't always be the one prepared for everything!!

Thanks! For someone who is so intelligent and logical, Mara can be just as clueless as Luke sometimes. But that's one of the things I love about her character :)

ACK! L/M mush! I love it! Absolutely love it!!

*melts*

I really like how you set it up, moving around the timeframe to show different scenes. The part about Mara's scars was chilling. And the romance was....*sigh*.....just perfect!

Brava, lady! *applause*

Thank you! I thought the bit about Mara's scars was fitting - there would be no way her hands would be lily white and pristine - she's been through too much - and I really wanted to use the idea of a person's skin reflecting their life and personality.

This was great! I loved how Luke knew so much about skin and had the forethought to take care of Mara. She's so stubborn that I could totally see her disregarding his warnings and getting fried. This story makes me wonder if your summer is approaching and thus fueled your muse.

Thanks! Living in a really dry area myself, I know what it's like to be extra paranoid about sun protection and I imagine that Luke would be too. Summer is about to start for us, but we had a really dry winter so the barren-ness of my area at the moment gave me the inspiration for this.
