This is beautiful. I love your writing style, and your (IMO, very much in character) descriptions of Gwen's feelings. I love that she isn't just thankful to Merlin but a bit resentful as well. I love that you brought the balance of life and death into this, and that the prophecy lives on with Arthur and Gwen's child. Most of all, I love that you've offered these characters some closure. That, I think, was the only thing truly missing from 5x13 (that, and the scene where Arthur leaps out of the lake and comes back to Camelot, obviously).

Thank you very much! A bit of closure was what I was going for because honestly there wasn't that much in the finale - especially with Gwen and the Merlin-Gwen friendship

this should be the ending of 5 x 13, what a beautiful ending and it is very sad, i cried like a baby, are you going to add another chapter. when i read this i think about bradley, angel, merlin, katie and rubert and tom. i am still sad that the show is finished. your story is very good and good on you.
