I love this. Lando has always been one of my favorite characters, but he's really hard for me to relate to, or get inside his head much, so I always especially admire it when someone nails his character as well as you do here. Everything about his mindset and actions feels so accurate, and I love the details you included about that, like "ever the gambler, looking for tells" and how well Lando does read Tendra.
Speaking of Tendra, by the way, I'm not sure I've ever read anything about her in fanfic other than this and the brief mention of her in that other vig you wrote - I'm forgetting the title at the moment, but the one taken from a poem, about the varied reactions to Mara's death - and I like getting a good glimpse of her like this, as someone who can match Lando so well, even if he initially thinks she's not his type.
And as a particular Luke fan, I was impressed with the phrasing "blunt in that gentle way that only Luke could be." That's very Luke. :D

Tendra is sorely lacking in fanfic, which is a shame, because I love, even though there is not a great deal of canon to go on. She is a great match for Tendra, and it is also a challenge to show that without making her into a Leia/Mara/Iella/Mirax clone :P I think what makes her and Lando so perfect for each other is there is an even footing, there - they both have business minds.
I can always see Luke being honest and not sugar-coating things for people, and yet somehow make anything he says come out in a nice way :D
