Dear Ridley Scott,

I understand that your new Robin Hood film will be a re-interpretation on the legend - with Robin as an ambiguous character and the Sheriff in the forefront. That's fine. But if you desire to make the Sheriff of Nottingham sympathetic, please do not cast Russell Crowe, unless you want to fail in that objective.  To quote Hermione

Huh. I've never actually seen or read Julius Caesar...

Yeah, it's still in pre-production, but they've cast Russell Crowe as the Sheriff and Sienna Miller as Marian. I'm...wary of this, because I've always loved the character of Robin and don't really want to see him as the bad guy.

I've never read Julius Caesar either so I was a bit suprised to get that one!
