so, i'm awake on a sunday morning because my neighbors and their roofers don't believe in sleeping in. isn't there some kind of city ordinance about when construction work is allowed to be done? i vaguely remember that sunday is supposed to be off-limits. whatever ( Read more... )

i think it's bad that the price of fuel is going down again. i think it should stay at a high price cos then it forces us to look into alternative fuel sources and also encourages more public transportation. they should have kept the price at $4 a gallon, we could deal. we obviously did.

Even if we pay $100 less a month for fuel, I'd rather act like it costs $4 dollars a gallon or more and put the savings to our lives. If other morons want to burn it like it's going out of style, well, our next generation can blame them, not us. Kinda the pious high-road but you have to apply principles somewhere.

Like you I believe that gas should cost what it it actually hurts, the environment. $6 a gallon or greater. I'll laugh all the way to the tank or bank when I can fill my Vespa for a week on $10.
