Hahaha, I bought Hark, a Vagrant at the Strand last winter during a post field trip wandering.

Glad you had a good trip! It looks like lots of fun - and neat that you saw so much of nature in NYC.

LOL, great minds. Seriously thought, Kierkegaard.

Well, we didn't get to Central Park at all, but the High Line and Botanical Gardens were pretty nature-full.

It's an awesome book!

That's okay, Central Park isn't going anywhere. The High Line is a cool idea. I've never been to the Botanical Gardens! I like the fact that they have exhibits like a museum, with the Monet stuff.

"Though," that is. Anyway, yes.

The Botanical Gardens are cool, though a bit of a haul since it's all the way up in the Bronx.

Aww, Chipper. Man, I still haven't even gotten around to downloading my pictures to my computer. I think I have one of you at the Botanical Gardens...

Such a cute lil fluff ball. Heh, I'd been putting off getting the pictures out of my phone for ages.

Thanks! Yeah, he was super cute the way he'd lean into your fingers if you scratched behind his ears or under his chin. I'd say if the opportunity arises to own a chinchilla, go ahead.

Christopher Moore is amazing. Total loony, in the best way. The way his characters talk to each other is perfectly hilarious. The Monet garden was really cool, especially the lily and lotus ponds.
