1. Aw, I tried to make those once and they didn't turn out nearly as nice. They do taste pretty good no matter what, though. All that butter!
2. You know, I think I like every Coldplay song I've ever listen to, but I have no urge to actually buy full albums. Mostly I just wait for songs to turn up on fanmixes and enjoy them from there.
3. *laughs* I think "Conspiracy Theories & Interior Design" was like my least favorite episode of S2. Except for "Would that this hoodie were a time hoodie", that is a great line. And the night class names. Learning!
1. I let it sit and solidify for quite a while. And I'm sure I really lucked out getting it to flip without breaking.
2. That's not a bad strategy. I dunno, I don't really go out of my way to listen to the albums anymore, but.. well, actually I don't go out of my way to listen to much of any albums anymore except for the new ones, but still. I've heard good things about this one.
3. I love the massive blanket fort. "Welcome to Fluffy Town. No smoking, no farting, and no pillow fights." Also, I like Kevin Corrigan (Prof. Wooley). Also also, just finished "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas"- even more adorable than I remembered.
1. I mostly had trouble getting the circle in the center to be so...circle-like. I used a cookie-cutter and everything, and yet it still didn't quite work.
2. They were on TCR or maybe TDS a couple of weeks ago. The song they played didn't impress me much, but you never know.
3. I love that they had a memorial to Pierce's mom there. Professor Professorson was okay, I guess, but all the Jeff/Annie stuff annoyed me. I like how nice Pierce is in "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas", especially after how much of a dick he is for most of the season. Plus he's a teddy bear! How cute is that!
1. That looks wonderful and superdelicious! Mmm, butter...
2. ...I just realized that "Viva La Vida" is the only Coldplay song I know and I love it. I'm not really a "full album" sort of person, though I admire people who are (my attention span is too short).
3. God, I need to get on the Community bandwagon. I've seen parts of episodes and they're really funny. Maybe when the semester is over.
I hope you have a good time seeing them! I've only seen one episode each of both Dowton Abbey and Once Upon a Time---DA is so fabulously period, and OUAT is so cute and quirky (but so obviously produced by Disney). I love how OUAT translates the fairy-tale characters into the present-day (like Jiminy Cricket as the shrink).
2. Heh, I bet you know more, you just haven't realized it's them. They've been around quite a while now.
3. Ooh, yes you do. It's a pretty brilliant show.
Well, I've heard that ABC is owned by Disney.. or Disney is owned by ABC... something, but yeah, it's pretty cute. Downton Abbey is... a soap opera, but in an awesome period way.
That egg-in-a-basket looks so good! I wasn't sure what you were talking about at first because I've seen that called toad in a hole. Regionalism are weird.
A friend and I got into a debate last week about whether or not a Monte Cristo sandwich is supposed to be made with french toast and powdered sugar or whether it was an entirely savory sandwich. We ultimately went on wikipedia and discovered we were both right depending on the regional.
Also, I've developed a liking for making croque monsieurs. Which are so unhealthy. They're even better when you add a fried egg on top and turn it into a croque madame-- which that picture made me think of.
I need to start Once Upon a Time. It's only three episodes so far! I can do it!
Heh, yeah, it does seem like one of those dishes that goes by a ton of names. In V for Vendetta Dedrick calls it "eggy-in-the-basket," which I can't use because I find it incredibly cloying.
And I've never heard of a Monte Cristo sandwich at all! Weird.
Or croque monsieurs/madames. Boy there are a lot of dishes in the world.
It's pretty good! They gave Snow White and Prince Charming a really cool backstory last episode, well worth watching.

2. I've listened to the first intro track and "Hurts Like Heaven"- they're pretty awesome.
3. Mm, and the Latvian Independence Parade. Aw, Teddy Pierce, yeah, it was nice that it was him with Abed at the end.
P.S. OMG, David Anders on Once Upon a Time! Hi, David Anders!
