Yeeeeessssssssssssss. I used the icon for the post and the questions thread on purpose. XD I wanted to really challenge you two in the final round - make you stretch as writers. <3 I'm so excite!
Also I'm unscreening your comment, because it's obvious at this point who is asking what.
To answer your question - you can break the statement up, but it must still all be used, and be part of the same dialogue transaction, i.e.:
"And I'll do it and then everything will be fine."
Can become:
"And I'll do it," she said, eyes full of purpose. "And then everything will be fine."
But Not:
"And I'll do it," she said.
"And then everything will be fine," Richard finished.

Can I, say, break it up into "I'll do it." and "Everything will be fine." or do I have to use that whole sentence as it is?
