First, please read the 2012 GENERAL RULES, linked above. If you make a nomination not in accordance with the General Rules, the moderators may not accept it and may or may not notify you.
NOTE: When nominating OT3 or moresome fics that involve both male and female participants, discretion is up to the nominator where the emphasis of the fic lies. If the emphasis is on m/f, the fic belongs in Rare Pair Het. If the emphasis is on f/f, then the fic belongs in Rare Pair Femslash. And if the emphasis is on m/m, the fic belongs in Rare Pair Slash. If the emphasis is equal on m/f and slash/femslash, it defaults to belonging in Rare Pair Het.
NOMINATION RULES
Post only Rare Pair Slash nominations in this post.
Post your nominations in the appropriate comment thread. Nominations outside the comment threads will not be counted.
Anyone may nominate. You do not have to be a member of the comm, or even have an LJ account. The IP address logger is on to prevent cheating.
You do not have to nominate in every category, or all at once. You may do so in several comments.
You may nominate up to 3 fics per nomination thread.
Do not nominate yourself. Doing so will result in the nomination not being accepted and a warning from the awards moderators.
Follow all additional instructions in the nomination threads.
Nominations/comments are screened.
FIC ELIGIBILITY
The fic does not have to be posted to lotseekerfic . All fic is eligible unless it violates one of the other criteria.
Both works in progress and completed fics are eligible.
Any LotS fic that has not been nominated in previous awards is eligible.
Any LotS fic that has been nominated before is eligible for the 2012 Awards so long as it has been updated since February 2011. You can see prior nomination lists HERE.
Fics that placed first in a subcategory in previous award rounds are not eligible for that subcategory until two rounds after their win. (Ex: Won R/K Best Romance 2011. Eligible for R/K Best Romance again in 2013.) Each nomination thread lists last year's 1st Place Winner, so that you know that fic is ineligible in that category.
Any fic that won 5 awards in previous award rounds is ineligible in every category until two rounds after the win of the 5 awards. (Ex: Won 5 awards in 2011. Black listed from all awards categories until 2013.) A black list of these fics is linked above.
Please check blacklists before nominating. Moderators may not notify you if you nominate a blacklisted fic/author. It will depend upon the time available to the moderators.
