Mod Post: New Warning System; Tag Poll
Hello Seekers!
Due to concerns expressed by some members, we will be implementing a warning system that follows the model on AO3 at the end of the month once the awards are done with. This system will also be implemented on agadenreach, peoplespalace, and on richard_kahlan with some tweaks to account for it being a comm for a specific pairing. More about the new system will be explained at the time of implementation.
As we prepare for the change, we'd like to get some opinions on tags. We already have genre tags for slash and femslash so that users who want that genre without having a specific pairing in mind may easily filter to those fics. It has been suggested that we create a genre: het tag for the same purpose. We haven't had one in the past since such a tag would have so many entries that it would be almost useless in terms of filtering fics, unless you just wanted to browse everything but slash and femslash. It's been suggested that not having a het tag is possibly unfair, so now we're taking a poll. The results of the poll will also be applied to agadenreach andpeoplespalace (though not torichard_kahlan, since that comm is only for that pairing).
