This story gets better every time I read it. There is so much characterization and emotion conveyed in so few words.

I love the way you give Egremont his own story and motivations. And the ending always gets to me even multiple readings.

Thank you for your comments. I've always thought Egremont should have his own back story, he seemed so under used in the show.
