Oooooh! This is really lovely - a real, proper Seeker adventure! I can almost see that as an actual episode. (God, I miss this show so damn much.)

I really like the way you show the journey from where Kahlan starts out to where she ends, how she learns to see Cara differently. What a great way to get Cara into a Confessor dress - and I love that Kahlan at the end is comfortable enough to enjoy the roleplay. Thank you so much for a fantastic gift! ♥

I'm very glad you liked it; I was a little worried making the Kahlan-Cara interaction take second seat to all the action but I think I've been a little hungry for Seeker adventure too.

OMG!!! This story at least deserves to be a two-shot. This is too good to be true and it was wonderfully written. My gosh, so wonderful. Thank you for writing it! The best part was....ok everything was the best part.

Pretty please just one more chapter :)

Ok, honestly, maybe. I really need to finish the last chapter of "opposite intentions" but I *was* only able to get 2/3rds of the way through my plot since I got crunched for time and decided to end this early rather than rush to the end. It feels finished as it is, but I did leave some plot threads hanging I would love to clean up. So, maybe.

Fake Confessor Cara taking Kahlan as her mate! I loved the whole confession scene.

*grins* That image of Cara pretending to confess Kahlan popped into my head and I knew I had to make it happen. This whole fic was centered on getting that scene. See my reply to [info]musicffyou about a possible sequel.
