Welcome to the Lord of the Rings Community Big Bang Challenge!
Welcome to a brand new challenge for Lord of the Rings fandom!
Perhaps you have seen references in other fandoms for "Big Bang" challenges, and been curious as to what they are, or perhaps you've never heard of them before. So far as we have been able to determine there has never been a Big Bang for The Lord of the Rings and the associated Tolkien universe. Therefore we have decided to correct that oversight!
Briefly, a Big Bang is a challenge in which an author commits to writing a lengthy story over a certain period of time, and is then paired with an artist who will provide one or more illustrations for the story!
