Cheerleader sign-ups
These are official sign-ups for cheerleader volunteers for the Big Bang. These sign-ups will be open until January 29. Please comment here to volunteer as a cheerleader.
As a cheerleader, your job is to encourage your writer in her project. This may or may not involve reading bits of her story ahead of time-- that is up to the writer. At any rate, you should make yourself available to communicate with her in the way that works best for the two of you, whether by email, chat, IM, etc. You can send her small encouraging reminders, ask her how her word count is going, etc.
The way in which you work with your writer is up to the two of you. Everyone has her own way of doing things. It's up to you to find out what your writer expects of you and how you can best fill your role.
