Poor Kili, that must be quite a burden. bofur, in the films, struck me as a kind soul, so he fits very well as the one who'd notice and want to do something about it. I like how there's comfort even if Kili couldn't share the secret just yet - it's a sweet, hopeful ending :)

Company comes from the most unexpected sources... it's lovely how Kili is getting support and friendship from Bofur in this way. I'm very fond of film!Bofur, and this works so very well for him. I confess it took me some getting used to fem!Kili, and I was a bit wary at first reading the pairing, because I think it's not easy to do that and stay in character and believable. You managed that admirably, and your fem!Kili works perfectly for me.
