Oh, I am relieved that you like it. It's been so long, and I wasn't sure I could write any more.

I liked trying to fit Faramir's actions in the movie to his reputation as "perfect" in the book. Also I always thought that Faramir's heavy-handed pretense in the book was a little annoying and not something a perfect person would do - which made him all the more appealing as a character in the end.

Thank you! I've always liked the idea of keeping something of the book!Faramir in the mix - and the canon "swoon" of Frodo into his arms. :)

You know you're one of the few people who will get me to read Hobbit!fic, yes? ^_~

The fic builds nicely from scene to scene, the intensity growing throughout. Nicely done.
