intarsia graph? there's this one here, from this post. is that what you mean? ^_^

I got the line drawings here myself, and then superimposed a pdf of graph paper over the first in Photoshop. The drawing is really too fine for intarsia, though. I found it worked much better as embroidery, and if I were to want a knitted look, I'd go with duplicate stitch.
